I don’t know about you, but when I think of love, my heart turns to the zombie apocalypse. That’s the inspiration behind the latest trailer for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. In it, we see Richonne (is that what we’re calling them now?), a.k.a. Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), on the journey of falling in love/killing the undead over the course of the franchise.

Here’s the synopsis for the upcoming spinoff series:

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live presents an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Kept apart by distance. By an unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive—or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?

Some uplifting Valentine’s week content!

In addition to Lincoln and Gurira, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live stars Pollyanna McIntosh, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Terry O’Quinn, Matthew August Jeffers, Craig Tate, and Andrew Bachelor. It is showrun by Scott M. Gimple.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live premieres on AMC and AMC+ on February 25, 2024. Here’s the love-filled trailer. icon-paragraph-end
